Milling cutter design and manufacturing service
Our customers frequently need non-standard milling cutters. We are increasingly being asked to design and manufacture unique tools that enable special features to be machined efficiently.
Individual milling cutters incorporating:
- long shanks & Short flutes & standard shanks with extra long flutes,
- multi-step tools for machining of complex shapes or bores,
- precision ground ball radii,
- corner radii added to standard tools
Milling tools can be manufactured from carbide and HSS stock in diameters from 4 to 40 mm diameters.
3D simulation software
We use advanced 3D simulation software in the design of customer unique cutting tools from carbide and HSS tool blanks. In the process, higher productivity is achieved by eliminating the need to manufacture pre-production tools to check their performance.
